On February 5, 2026, the first meeting of the project’s Management Teams took place in Wiżajny, near the Romincka Forest Landscape Park. Representatives of all the institutions and organizations that are beneficiaries of the project participated: the University of Silesia, Wigry National Park, Wielkopolska National Park, the Man and Nature Association, Gamtos tyrimų centras, and the Romincka Forest Landscape Park – representing the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss formal, substantive, and financial issues related to the seven-year collaboration on research and eradication of alien species, which is just beginning.
