On July 20-21, 2026, at the University of Silesia in Katowice, the first representative of the LIFE24-NAT-PL-Control IAS for LIFE project, along with his supervisor, Dr. Stanisław Tworek, met. After presenting the applications and individual elements available regarding technical requirements and the European Commission’s requirements, we visited two calamine grassland sites affected by the effects of IGO removal as part of the LIFE24-NAT-PL-Control IAS for LIFE project. We also learned about the effects of the University of Silesia’s use of IAS in combating Japanese knotweed.
